Coronation Cup at Guards Polo Club

Coronation Cup at Guards Polo Club

2011-07-29

Luke Tomlinson led the Audi England team to an historic victory in the Coronation Cup at Guards Polo Club on Sunday 24 July. The England captain lifted the cup on the 100th anniversary of the competition, watched by HRH Prince Philip and Arnaud Bamberger of Cartier. Although England were on home territory, they faced a tough opposition from the Brazilian team, which was fielding a 29-goal team. Nacho Gonzalez joined James Beim and Mark and Luke Tomlinson to form the England team, coached by Mexican and former 10-goaler Carlos Gracida. Luke Tomlinson was named most valuable player, while José Donoso’s mare Pelusa, played by James Beim, was named best playing pony.

In the picture we can see Luke’s brother, Mark, wearing a TRYMAX wristband. TRYMAX is all over the world!
