The Big Challenge
2011-07-22
There is no challenge that Javier Merida can't handle. The last one was crossing the Strait of Gibraltar swimming together with another paratriathlete, Toni Franco. They both joined two continents with the effort of overcoming, and have shown that there is no disability that would keep them from carrying out their challenges.
Javier Merida:
"This was the most important thing I have done in my life. Not triathlon nor Ironman or anything" Crossing the Strait has been a feat I will never forget and the most important one in my life so far", said the sportsman hours after he was back onshore
